Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) museum quality sterling silver and multi-metal (gold and shakuda) inlaid Yatate (a Japanese portable writing set) with an original tiny Kozuka with a steel blade and a sterling removable handle. The Yatate is decorated with a low-relieved fine scrolls of a woman with a fan, with shakudo hair and gold and shakudo inlays.
There is an immortal with a scroll and a brush with gold inlays and immortal facing side with a scroll in his hand and gold inlays.
The Yatate is signed by an artist.
