Rare Japanese Edo (first part 19th century) Ko-Kutani Vase with a partly raised enameling, signed by an artist. The Vase depicts a rare scene of Baku, older people and children playing around, a noh-bird, a dog and several mystic creatures. You can see a kirin, tiger, turtle, two shishi, two cranes, a king-fisher, a peacock and a bird within the beautiful landscape. The background over the vase has Bamboo fence and flower blossoms with leaves. The top of the vase depicts dragons in clouds. There is a signature-seal of the artist (underglazed) underneath the vase. Serious collectors welcome. It has no losses and no damages. 8" x 6 1/2"
