Big Japanese Edo Period (mid 19th century) rare museum quality Porcelain Jar. It has a gilded sculpture of Foo-Dog on top, fine birds with under-glazed and slightly raised feathers and legs, a panoramic scene with seven geese and Bamboo bushes, and moon over flying geese. There are two flying geese are on a lid and symbolic floral decorations on a side of the lid and top of the vase.
The Jar has magnificent colors and great decorations. There are light bake imperfections on the vase which is traditional for Edo vases.
