This is a high quality Japanese silver wire wireless and silver mounted Namikawa style Cloisonne lidded Jar, with a silver knob and gilding over interior and the bottom. The Jar has a gray background and is decorated with six shields that depict Paradise birds and many other symbolic silver wire wireless decorations over the top of the Jar and the cover and over the edge of its foot. This is a fine museum quality Cloisonne Jar in absolutely perfect condition with no losses,restorations, or damages. The Jar is unsigned and is attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki or else to Kenunken. The Jar stands 4 1/4 inches tall and it is 3 1/4 inches in Diameter. It dates 19th century, Meiji, Japan.
