This is a magnificent and rare Japanese Hirado Set of a vase and two incense burners made in traditional for Hirado blue and white; with dragon-shaped handles, elephant- shaped feet and pierced bodies and covers. There are finely carved flower blossoms that could be seen through pierced tops of finals on both censors. The bodies and the bases of the censors are decorated with symbolic clouds; there are Paradise birds over exterior. The Garniture/Set (all three pieces) are in excellent condition with no damages, losses, or cracks. The Vase is 13.2 inches tall by 6 inches in Diameter; censors are 8 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches in Diameter, each. The Set dates 19th century, Meiji Period, Japan
