This is an important Japanese Presentational KUTANI Vase on a pedestal and four feet. It is made with two gorgeous handles in a shape of symbolic heads ; the same heads are done over feet of the base of the Vase. The decorations are of extremely fine gold painting over traditional for Kutani red , black , and a light green background. There are two shields with Paradise birds over the front and a back and other decorations (please see the pictures).
The Vase stands 12 1/4 inches tall and it is 8.2 inches by 6 inches.
It dates circa 1900 , Meiji Period, Japan
