Stunning bronze sword handle from the Dian Kingdom that paralleled the Han Dynasty. Judging from the heavy triangular pommels and spikes near the blade, these were designed for close quarter combat that would look right at home in a fight scene out of Game of Thrones. This has a classic azurite patina with traces of the original iron blades...

Quirky and eclectic collection of 35 small repousse copper plaques or tokens (possibly garment ornaments). These were collected in Dali, Yunnan, China in the late 1980s. No two are exactly alike and they seem to be influenced by Tantric Buddhism in that the endless knot, parasol, lotus throne, and temple banner motifs are represented in this lot as well as more traditional Chinese symbols such as bats and butterflies...

Lovely small three legged cooking vessel from the Han Dynasty. The legs are in the shape of small bears and the handles on the lid seem to resemble wing tips. There is a lot of restoration on this piece in the cooking basin, one the legs has been reattached, so please view the enlargements carefully. There is some warpage to the lid as well, but it is the original one. D: 12.4cm/4.9in and H: 10.4cm/4.4in.

Old (100 years or more) leather belt from Tibet with 5 damascened silver patterns on iron fittings with complete buckle. There is some rust on the metal bits, maybe some Silvo polish on them will bring some of the shine back to the silver. All the pieces seem to be here except for a scabbard attachment. Total L: 118cm/46.5in. I bought this the Barkor bazaar in front of the Jokang in Lhasa almost 20 years ago; the leather is rough but serviceable.
