A collection of 3 green glazed “kiln wasters” from an unknown Burmese kiln, I acquired these on recent trip to Thailand- the dealer, who I might add is extremely knowledgeable on Southeast Asian ceramics, said they were found in Burma and not from the Tak Hilltop Burial site, where all the Burmese ceramics I have seen have come from. Warped and damaged- what you see is what you get quite decorative as a set. I would date these 14th to 16th centuries...

Rare Buddhist votive terra cotta plaque, circa 10-12th century, most likely Mon culture. Very interesting iconography with the Buddha seated on a lotus supported by two Brahma (Nandi) bulls. Condition as pictured, the facial features are still legible, on the back, lines have been carved to represent the leaf of a Bo tree as well as an incised but illegible inscription...

Large Khmer pedestal jar circa 12th century with dark brown glaze. This piece has a large restoration to the top - normally the neck would be much longer but this has taken the piece from another, of the period jar, and attached it to this. Overall the glaze is excellent on this piece and has retained its elegance. H: 30cm/12in and D: 23cm/9in. This piece is quite heavy and weighs 3.5kg.

Very rare and previously undocumented Burmese jar with heavy cream ”moon white” glaze. I have no idea what the original purpose for this jar was, perhaps it was an oil lamp as there are wide set lugs as well as holes in the splayed out foot to fasten it down to something. This is one of the very few Burmese pieces I have seen in perfect condition (except for one bare spot on one of the lugs) there is no restoration...
