Luscious raw silk double sided “lungsema” kira from the Tashigang area, Bhutan. The palette on this piece is subdued yet exuberant with 9 different kinds of auspicious symbols embroidered and over a 100 lines of color (I lost count). It is in excellent condtion with little sign of wear (these are usually frayed a bit on the edge that drags the ground). There is one stain which should clean out if sent to a dry cleaner. Best one I have had to date. L: 2.6m/102in and W: 1.4m/55in...

Well carved mask from Nepal. This is made from a heavy, densely grained hardwood (but stained a darker color); with an old Nepalese rupee set in the forehead and an animal hide goatee and toupee’. I really don’t know much about this piece other than it came from Nepal. It is very thoughtfully crafted, and not a massed produced tourist piece of chachke. There is one chip on the side, H: 23.5cm/9.2in and 15.5cm/6.1in.
