Cambodian bronze water pot from Pursat Province, Cambodia 12th-13th CE- Khmer Period. This item was used during religious ceremonies for pouring water on Khmer icons and devotees in purification and blessing rituals. The truncated shape on this one is very unusual, only one of two I have ever seen. Please note; the spout on this is a clever restoration and is probably made from some sort of auto restoration product like Bondo. The hole in the body is original. Prior to this discovery it was listed on my site for $650.. H: 8cm/3.2in and D: 11.4cm/4.1in.
