Ensemble of six Qing Dynasty red agate and carnelian pieces carved into babies, bats and a “foo” dog face. Originally these were meant to be sewn on clothing- possibly a woman's cap, now they are strung on a macraméd faux silk chord. tThe pieces tend to hang too close together in the center or may be worn as a choker- a possible remedy might be to insert a wire into the chord to stiffen it up a bit. Otherwise I am selling these as set, ideal for a bead or jewelry designer. The loose smaller piece depicts “foo” dog, note condition and scale in enlargements.
