Good long rectangular aventurine bangle from early central Thai Bronze Age Lopburi Culture circa 500 BC. There is some damage on one end, well documented in enlargements. Aventurine is commonly mistaken for Jade as it has the same degree of hardness (6.5 Mohs scale rating). This is really a lovely stone and may be worn as a pendent (free fauxsilk macraméd cord included) The hole that runs the length of the bead is obstructed, either packed with dirt or unfinished but I am not going to try and force it. L: 6.8cm/2.8in.
