Quirky “Sai Sin” thread holder. Sai Sin chord is a type of religious blessing conferred on one usually after you have made a donation to a temple, by a monk. If you have ever been to Thailand and have seen people with bits of string tied around their wrist- this is what it’s about. This came from a Buddhist temple in Northern Thailand and is around 50 or 60 years old. L: 41cm/16in and W: 31cm/12in.
