Rare, wide mouth, lugged, Tang Dynasty heavy stoneware with yellowish olive green Yue type glaze, and reddish clay body from a Southern Kiln (possibly Zhejiang). Excellent original condition, no damage- there is one spot of “adhesion” where it came into contact with another piece in the kiln during firing. H: 24.5cm/9.6in and D: 14cm/5.5in.
