Signed studio original hand hammered multi metal 7 piece kinetic magical evil eye protector pendant, with added Victorian mille grain steel court button and gems, was made in a USA studio in the Modernist or Arts & Crafts tradition by and signed by this living self learned metal art maker as Mimi Dee.
As in some modernist approach, it is made with hammered mixed metals copper, sterling and a bit of gold fill. It is finished with a 19th century open work cut steel mille grain / brass 2 pc construction court button as the “found object” with modern semi precious stones added on the “dangles”

*The multi cultural ethnographic evil eye motif, used in jewelry by the ancient Romans, Asian Dzi, Victorian and continuously through out the middle east was hand shaped forged by this maker, with the antique 2 piece construction button as the iris.

*A signed: Sterling - 16 gauge connector
*Final dangle: using sterling silver to thread a 4mm genuine coral bead, hand twisted sterling and gold fill spacer then the glorious 9mm iridescent praline brown high nacre fresh water pearl.
