Up for sale is a very large antique chinese red silk tapestry brocaded with polychrome peonies & vines, and gold thread shadows, Qianlong period. The panel is made up of 2 pieces from a yardage, each about 27" wide, and that explains why there is a seam in the middle; the panel backed with light yellow silk. Overall is in excellent condition, no wear or fraying, no stains, colors are bright. Please ask if you have any question or need a close-up pictures. Measurements: 53" x 82" ( 135cm x 208cm ).
