●Japanese bamboo basket made by master Iizuka Shokansai(1919-2004), studied under his father Iizuka Rokansai. It is woven with a little colored bamboo strips and rattan. Entitled ""Hiki-tsuru" , hiki means leading and tsuru means crane. The word, hikitsuru(hikizuru) means the group of cranes flying back to north in the spring. ●Size:height50cm(19.7inches), width15cm(5.9inches) ●Accessories: Original beautifuly lacquered otoshi(water container), Tomobako(original wooden box with artist's signature) ●Condition: Good condition and has no big damages, but some thin stips are cracked.
