Important antique Satsuma vase made by the master artist ONISHI SUIGETSU CIRCA 1780 in perfect condition no damages and no repairs. Depicting the seven GODS of fortune, reaches and happiness. The master artist ONISHI SUIGETSU worked in the late 18th century in Japan. He was a pupil of MOCHIZUKI GYOKUSEN MAKOTO.He was a painter of figures,birds and flowers.He was a teacher to MATSUMURA GOSHUN. Size approximately: 7 inches, 18 centimeters- tall, Circumference-20 inches, 51 centimeters. A superb quality Satsuma vase, over 200 years old. Should be in a Museum. Please note the special marking on the base, most likely it was done by the artist for an Imperial family order for a special occasion.
