ANTIQUE JAPANESE SATSUMA VASE, GYOKUZAN COMPANY MADE AND SIGNED BY ARTIST CHIN JU KAN CIRCA 1868-1869. EARLY MEIJI PERIOD. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, NO REPAIRS. THE SIZE IS APPROXIMATELY: 10&1/2 INCHES 25&1/2 CENTIMETERS-TALL.8 INCHES, 20 CENTIMETERS-WIDE. THE VASE HAS TWO PANELS WITH RAISED FIGURES,ONE PANEL A RAISED MAN STANDING AMONG TREES & FLOWERS. ON THE OTHER PANEL A RAISED PANEL OF KUANYIN SITTING AMONG THE CLOUDS.ON ONE SIDE A BIG & COLORFUL SHIMAZU FAMILY CREST.A NICE QUALITY WORK PAINTED AND RAISED.
