A Chinese, white ware, ewer of an elegant double-gourd form and incised line delineations; from the Northern Song dynasty. Covered over-all, except for the base and inner foot, with a white glaze, which appears greenish where it has pooled. Dimension; 16cm tall. Condition; good over-all, with noticeable areas of missing glaze; a common problem of mis-fitting glaze amongst this type of early white-ware. Please ask for additional photos if required.

A Chinese, Sancai glazed, bowl from the late Tang dynasty. The bowl well potted, with rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim. Beautifully decorated with alternate bands of green, amber and white glaze, the indented foot of this bowl would suggest a dating of later in the Tang dynasty. Dimensions, 12.2 cm diameter. Condition; good overall, with some nibbles to the foot.

Although rare in this small size, this jar has not been reduced, as there are traces of glaze on the mouth rim. Originally, it would have had a cover. A Korean cup-mouthed vase; Goryeo dynasty. Covered all-over with an olive-tinted, finely crackled, celadon glaze. The slightly recessed base has burnt reddish, in part, and there are some adherences of sand. Dimensions; 26.8 cm tall. Condition, I generally good condition; the glaze is nicely lustrous. There is an old repair to part of the mouth rim. There are a couple of abrasions to the foot rim.

A Chinese, Zhangzhou kiln, dish with leaping-carp decoration in over-glazed polychrome, red, turquoise and green, enamels. Swatow ware and dating to the late Ming dynasty; circa 1600-1640. Dimensions; 38cm diameter. Condition; With age related wear. Glaze loss to the rim; which is common with this type of ware, due to the poorly fitting glaze, and some fritting. There is a very small spot of discolouration to the rim; probably caused by a corroded plate hanger.
