A wonderful vintage Taxco Mexican sterling silver, 5 panels of geometric pattern, Niello work (blacked in places)) bracelet by Isidro Garcia Pina - his mark and firms name- Maricela named after his daughter Maricela. This bracelet has very deep chasing work blackened by Niello work which adds to the feel and perception of deep depth on each of the 5 panels. The geometric design is extremely well executed as are all of Maricela's pieces. The mark on this vintage bracelet dates it to 1943 - 1980 Probably on the earlier side.

Measures approx. just over 7” wearable size, 16.35mm (.643”) wide at the panel, panels are 1.67mm thick
Weighs approx. 41.65 grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition without defects. Very light tarnishing. Clasp works as it should. Attractive patina with a bit of tarnish in the joints and catch area.
About Isidro Garcia Pina: Opened his shop in 1943 named the taller Maricela after his daughter. The shop closed in 1986. His work is considered to be high caliber; Featured in the book Mexican Silver Hallmarks by Bille Hougart (third edition) page 128 and many other books on collected Taxco (area including surrounding towns) Mexican Silver Artists.
