Los Ballesteros / Talleres de Los Ballesteros established in the home of the family in Iguala, Mexico in 1937 by Jalil Majul Ballesteros. The firm moved to Taxco in around 1941 and became a very large and successful manufacturer and retailer. Most items are made by independent silversmiths off site, many in homes on the kitchen table!. The caliber of the work varies from good right up to fantastic.
