From a collected artist of the mid 20th century Taxco México era, MIGUEL Garcia Martinez. A modernist trumpet flower brooch with a bit of Niello work adding great depth at the end of the piece (by the trumpet part)... A client said it looked more like a trumpet or a musical instrument! This brooch dates Circa 1956, signed correctly, weighs 14.8 grams.
Marks: MIGUEL. STERLING. 925. MEXICO.
Measurements 32.18mm / 1.266” high, 49.7mm / 1.95” widest, 18mm thickest point.
Weight 14.8 grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, the Niello work has a very small bit of loss otherwise excellent.

Garcia was the primary designer at Rancho Alegre owned by Pedro Perez in 1956. Perez was the shop manager at William Spratling Taller de la Delicias.
