This truly iconic Taxco braided twist bangle bracelet was originally designed by Hector Aguilar a top 1% Taxco early 20th Century Silver Artists. This piece is nicely made with extra details and heft not found on lesser copies. This design is always in style and recognizable. There are many who make this design but there are major differences in the quality of work. The details are important, look for a pleasing and consistent pattern there will be a seam but it should be clean and not displeasing to the eye. The weight is also a great clue, look for at least a 50+ grams unless you specifically want a lighter weight and even then, perhaps this is not the right design for you otherwise the price should be significantly lower.
