A very interesting sterling silver and inlayed Cross. It looks like Between the front and back sterling silver pieces there is black Bakelite or an equivalent held together by 4 rivets. The front and back are both inlaid with copper, what could be turquoise and black enamel.
Marks: MEXICO. STERLING 925 H. ARRIACA. Eagle 1 (i think).
Measures: 42.36mm | 1.66” high not including the o'ring or bail, 29.57mm | 1.16” wide and 2.8mm thick.
Weight: 3.51 Grams.
Date: Circa 1950. Early Eagel period.
Condition: excellent vintage condition, only light surface scratches (all can be buffed out if desired).
Listed in the book: The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks (third edition) by Bille Hougart page 22.
I don’t see many pieces by H. ARRIACA but those I have were all high quality, handmade feel; Collectible.
