At 44.75mm | 1.76” long this stunning BEGAY signed Navajo ring catches the eye. The center stone is a beautiful large oval Turquoise stone that is aqua blue with lighter almost cloud like and tan inclusions. Surrounded by 14 Red Coral rounds (look all natural to me) and set in a substantial and detailed Silver setting. Signed by the famous family of Navajo silversmiths BEGAY. I am not sure which one signed this way but there is no mistaking the extremely high level of workmanship/ skill shown here.
Measures: 44.75mm | 1.76” long, 21.60mm | .850” widest and 6mm thick.
Ring size: 8.5.
Weight: 12.05 Grams.
Date: Circa 1950. Early Eagle period.
Notes: Signed 'BEGAY'. (with no initial to specify which of this well known family of Navajo silversmiths made this ring but a bit of research should clear that up).
