Do you see monsters? A vintage Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver 3 panel cuff with a different sea monster in each panel. The Niello is faded but actually looks ok as it’s relatively even not blotchy as is most often seen. Tongue and groove clasp. Marked well but I can’t make it all out.
Marks: TAXCO. Iguala. GLR or CLR the rest I can’t make out.
Measures: slightly over 7” wearable. Panels are 42.3mm | 1.673” high, 40mm | 1.613” wide. The balls are approx. 5.5mm high, 9.9mm wide.
Date: Circa 1950.
Condition: Near excellent vintage condition, the main defect is the faded Niello and a few of the balls have tiny dings, 3 of the balls dings are noticeable. Normal minor light surface scratches.
