This vintage sterling silver Taxco Mexico pin / brooch looks like a bow tie or a flower and has a round ball in the center surrounded by 6 smaller balls. Signed on the back by Felipe MARTINEZ.

Measurements: 27.83mm | 1.09” highest point, 40.51mm | 1.59” widest point, 5.46mm thick without the clasp.

Weight: 7.99 Grams.

Circa: 1950.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only the usual surface marks.

A former sculptor, Felipe MARTINEZ once worked with Hubert Harmon (see page 69-71) in the id-1940’s. Martinez opened his own shop, Piedra y Plata (Stone and Silver) in 1950. Marks: MARTINEZ; F. MARTINEZ; Piedra y Plata. Eagle number: 3.
