A vintage Native American Navajo sterling silver bypass ring by Robert Becenti. This ring has two similar silver flowers and beautiful sky blue turquoise stones on either side with an open space between, while the back is all one piece AKA bypass ring. The rounded turquoise gemstones have no matrix and are a beautiful sky/ robins egg blue. The flowers are detailed showing leaves and the stems. The band is also detailed with 3 vertical lines on either side leading to a double line that goes around the rest of the band. Signed and marked sterling.
Marks: RB. STERLING.
Measurements: 22.25mm / .87” widest point, 22.64” / .89” longest, each of the sides with the turquoise stone are 5mm thick.
Ring size: 9 US
Weight: 7.37 Grams.
Circa: Pre 1980.
NOTE: I have seen similar ring by the same mark RB. Some Running Bear as well as others I am sure are very nice but in my opinion, there is usually a big difference in the quality and details of the work. Robert Becenti is a known Navajo artist and his work is consistently high caliber.
