Amazing design and technique used by Isidro Garcia Pina to create such an incredible piece; this must be one of the original ‘open hearts’ themed pieces of all time. Made from 8 handmade heart shaped links that fit together perfectly and looks even more so when worn. Slightly concave, with Niello work in the groves, each link seems as if it is part of the next link. The box clasp blends into the design and is hidden when closed. A nice heft at 52+ grams. Pina named his firm after his daughter and is his mark - MARICELA. Signed/ marked on the back of the box clasp.
Marks: 925. In a circle MARICELA TAXCO. HENCHO EN MEXICO. 925.
Measurements: 7” wearable. Links approx. 34mm | 1.3” long, 31mm | 1.2” widest.
Weight: 52.84 Grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No defect to be found, a bit of tarnish that can be polished away if desired, normal vintage light surface scuffs.
