A wonderful vintage signed Mexican sterling silver ‘playful’ motif statement pendant with a very large faceted prong set amethyst gemstone in the center with stunning colors, Surrounded by a almost heart shaped design which is surrounded by 8 footprints toes and all. Those are all surrounded by what looks like children holding hands. The entire piece is hollow making the very detailed openwork makes an impact to any viewer, solid sterling silver back. This is a very detailed and well executed ‘playful’ piece, even the bail has a bit of detail to it. Signed on the back. Circa 1950's. Weighs 61.68 grams.
Marks: TAXCO MEXICO 925 in a circle surrounding the initials js (gs conjoined in script (not a 100% sure but they are readable) Eagle, unable to make out the Eagle number.
