This look is from the Arts and Crafts movement, the focal point is the glowing pink with a rainbow abalone shell in the shape of a heart. It is bezel set and sits on top of what looks like a stained glass window to me. The silver work is outstanding, The design is interesting as it is very solid with 2 ‘levels’ attached on the log ends by direct solder and on each side by 3 bits of silver, this leaves a lot of beautiful openwork. The face of the setting is also two levels although not as blatant. The use of straight and curved lines with balls/ beads ties it all together well.
Marks None, tests positive for at least 925 sterling silver.

Tarnish/ Polish Index: 1 - 5.
A quick guide to the shine/ polish of this piece 1 = no shine through 5 = 100% polished.
This piece = 3.
An almost perfect score for my taste. The silver is polished but not overly shiny, there is dark tarnish mostly seen in the crevasses and deeper parts of the silver setting adding to the depth effect of this setting. This leaves the new owner to polish to taste.
Layaway always welcome.
