This is a frame of 100 Columbia river gem points. There are 31 agatized petrified wood points. There are also 2 extremely rare glass points, one clear and one purple. There are 77 G-10s and the others are 9s with a couple of 8s. True G-10s are 1 in 10,000 points. This is a very rare trans Paleo to early Archaic point dating to 10,500-9000 B.P. This is a large size arrow point that has long tip to base convex turning parallel sided blade edges that transition into drooping basal auricles. The basal edge is concave and the haft is ground. It has classic oblique transverse flaking and nice naturally aged patina with good sorbed deposits, hinge staining and authentic accumulations visible. It is made from a dark gray chert...

I purchased these four Hayes points from Tom Davis in the 1990's. They are from the Mississippian period and were found in SW Arkansas. Tom was selling them for Ken Partain and they are pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities of which I have the original publication. Tom sent me 79 Hayes points. I cherry picked the top four. All Hayes points are extremely rare and most on the market are fake according to one of top area authenticators...

This is an incredible 1 7/8" Columbia Plateau found in Oregon. It is made from beautiful translucent moss agate. It is a true G-10. One of the very best. It is from one of the all time great Northwest collections, Gordon Erspamer. I purchased it from a Jim Bennett auction who personally examined it and told me it was a one in a 10,000 point. Mr. Bennett has written three books on how to recognize reproductions and altered artifacts. They are currently selling on Amazon for $388 each.

If you are looking to fill your vacant Plainview Paleo spot, look no further. You would be hard-pressed to find a better example. It is 4 1/8" long. It has collateral high quality flaking. The hafting area is ground and it has basal thinning. It is made from a beautiful translucent chalcedony that is root beer colored. It was found in Mills County, Texas. I have owned it since 1998. It is a hands down G-10 and comes with a Bill Breckinridge laser COA.

This beautiful Eden point was found in Oregon. It is made from multi-colored petrified bog wood. It has short flutes on both sides. It has a medium ridge on both faces and a ground base. Parallel flaking. It is 2 3/4" long. There is no damage on this point at all. Very fine flaking and an early point. G-10. Purchased from Richard E. Bachman. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities & Archaeological News, May 1997, page 35 #4.

This beautiful Dovetail is made from high gloss, waxy, semi-translucent burlington chert. It has great patina and mineralization. It comes with a Tom Davis COA rating it a G-10. It is 4 1/4" long and 1 1/2" inches wide. It was found by Charlie Walker in Bourbon County, Kentucky

This glacial kame green banded slate gorget is 4" long. It was found near New Castle in Henry County, Indiana. It came out of the Chris Thompson collection. I purchased it from Gary Mumaw. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities, August 1995, page 44. This piece dates to late Archaic C2500BC. It is a beauty with fine concentric banding.

This beautiful translucent honey quartz gorget is 3" wide by 2 1/2" long. It is from the famous late Jim D. Humphrey's collection of NE Tennessee. It was found in the early 1970's on the Holliston Mills site, Hawkins County, TN. It has lots of mineralization and fine patina. This is an archaic piece dating to C1500BC. This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. Carroll wrote 4 books on Northwest material. It is made from gorgeous highly translucent orange agate. It has beautiful serrated edges and is flawless. The chipping is the finest. This whopping point is 4 7/8" long and 2 1/4" wide. Lar Hothem calls it a very scarce 1st stage St. Charles Dovetail. Tom Davis authenticated it as a Lost Lake, G-9. It is made from semi-translucent high quality burlington chert. It has excellent mineralization and patina. It has a very clear imprint of a fossilized shell on the upper left about a 1/4" from the tip, making this a no-brainer for authenticity. It was found near St. Louis, Missouri. This beautiful crescent pick bannerstone is 3". It is in perfect condition with no damage or nicks anywhere. It is made from gorgeous concentric green and black banded slate. Found in Williams County, Ohio. From the collection of Dana Staley.

This beautiful Dovetail is 3 5/8" long and made from translucent striped carter cave flint. Very finely beveled. Found by Tommy Gill in Garrad County, Kentucky,G-10.

This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

This Hell Gap point is made from beautiful agatized petrified wood. Found in northern Colorado. It is 2 1/8" long. The very end of the base has been snapped off in ancient times, but it does not detract.

This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.

This is a beautiful Pelican Lake point found in Wyoming that I purchased from the Arley Hudson collection in 1987. It is made from a gorgeous waxy translucent orange moss agate with two ribbons of white agate showing on the lower right side. The reverse side is heavily patinated from exposure. It is 2" long. It is extremely well chipped. You won't be disappointed with this one.
