This is a frame of 100 Columbia river gem points. There are 31 agatized petrified wood points. There are also 2 extremely rare glass points, one clear and one purple. There are 77 G-10s and the others are 9s with a couple of 8s. True G-10s are 1 in 10,000 points. Also included are the 5 Columbia river gem points that are listed on this site for $10,000 including the only precious opal point from Oregon known to exist. This nicely translucent Rose Springs was found in Colorado. It measures 1 5/16" X 11/16". It is made from a beautiful translucent waxy agate. It comes with a Jackson COA. A very nice point.

All of these points are translucent agatized coral found in Florida. I purchased 1, 2 (Bolen), 3 (Hillsborough) and 5 (Hernando) from Tom Davis. i still have his pre-internet catalog which will go to the buyer. He purchased these from one of the oldest and best collections in Florida, John Claytor. Agatized coral is a material highly sought after and prized by collectors and always brings a premium price. Because they are so desirable, they are now being quickly faked...

I purchased these four Hayes points from Tom Davis in the 1990's. They are from the Mississippian period and were found in SW Arkansas. Tom was selling them for Ken Partain and they are pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities of which I have the original publication. Tom sent me 79 Hayes points. I cherry picked the top four. All Hayes points are extremely rare and most on the market are fake according to one of top area authenticators...

This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. Carroll wrote 4 books on Northwest material. It is made from gorgeous highly translucent orange agate. It has beautiful serrated edges and is flawless. The chipping is the finest. It has no stacks, curves or bends. It is 2 1/4". I believe it to be the finest Rabbit Island ever found and is certainly one of the largest...

This rare Archaic E-Notch point, made from translucent gray glossy flintridge, is in perfect condition. It has heavy grinding on the base and in the bottom portion of the notches. This is a classic example of the type and is beautifully beveled. It was found near Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio. Comes with a Gregory Perino certificate of authenticity and shows very nice mineralization and patination.

This is one of the finest Columbia River Gem Points known to exist. It may be the finest Gunther Barbed/Rogue River ever found. It is the largest example I have ever seen. It is a huge 2 3/4" long. It is made from the finest quality translucent moonstone white agate. It has beautiful patina. The tip and barbs are perfect, not even a spider bite anywhere on the piece. It is a G-10+. This beautiful Dovetail is made from high gloss, waxy, semi-translucent burlington chert. It has great patina and mineralization. It comes with a Tom Davis COA rating it a G-10. It is 4 1/4" long and 1 1/2" inches wide. It was found by Charlie Walker in Bourbon County, Kentucky

This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

This cannel coal gorget is 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" long. It is very thin and well made. It is from the Jim D. Humphrey's collection. He collected from 1930-1970. It is from the Holliston Mills site, Hawkins County, Tennessee, Holston River. It dates to C1500BC. A rare piece.

This exceptional point is 1 7/16" and was found in Washington. It is made from a beautiful translucent mostly yellow agate. It is 1 7/16". It has excellent patina. Ex. Norma Berg collection. A truly high quality point with very fine chipping.

This beautiful crescent pick bannerstone is 3". It is in perfect condition with no damage or nicks anywhere. It is made from gorgeous concentric green and black banded slate. Found in Williams County, Ohio. From the collection of Dana Staley.

This fabulous Columbia River Gem Point is made from yellow, orange and ice translucent agate. It is Ex. Norma Berg collection. It is 13/16" and very thin. I haven't seen a color like this in 40 years of collecting.

This is a beautiful Pelican Lake point found in Wyoming that I purchased from the Arley Hudson collection in 1987. It is made from a gorgeous waxy translucent orange moss agate with two ribbons of white agate showing on the lower right side. The reverse side is heavily patinated from exposure. It is 2" long. It is extremely well chipped. You won't be disappointed with this one.

This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.

This is a very rare trans Paleo to early Archaic point dating to 10,500-9000 B.P...

Like many of you, I love the colorful gem points the most. You might have noticed that I specialize in this type of point and most of my points are in the gem category. I do not know what material this point is made from. It is that unusual. I can only classify it as a chalcedony. I do not know what type this point is. It was found in Nebraska. It is expertly chipped. In fact, you cannot tell which side is side A. Both sides are equally masterfully chipped. A G-10 all the way. It is 1 5/8" long....

This glacial kame green banded slate gorget is 4" long. It was found near New Castle in Henry County, Indiana. It came out of the Chris Thompson collection. I purchased it from Gary Mumaw. Pictured in Prehistoric Antiquities, August 1995, page 44. This piece dates to late Archaic C2500BC. It is a beauty with fine concentric banding.
