This incredible Columbia Plateau is 2 1/8" long. It is made from semi-translucent agatized petrified wood. It was found by Ernie Cowles in the 1930's. Of his vast collection of over 5,000 points, he stated this was his favorite. Yellow and red agate is extremely rare especially in arrowheads and highly sought after by collectors. Combine this with the size and rare elongation and you have one of the best Columbia River Gem Points on the market. The yellow is the brightest I have seen. The colors in the pictures are true. Yes, it does have a broken tip in antiquity, but it is the best all around Columbia River Gem Point I have seen. I purchased it from Randy McNeice from Intermountain Artifacts on 7-9-2001.
