A carved and joined walnut monk’s chair with upholstered back and seat of light-colored hide fastened with large metal studs. The back uprights have leaf-carved scroll finials and are joined to the flat arms which rest on square supports. Just under the seat, front and side stretchers display carved paneled rosettes.
