Fantastic, ultra rare, vintage Georg Jensen Denmark sterling bracelet no. 139 designed by Astrid Fog. In 1969, Astrid Fog( 1911-1993) released her first jewelry collection for Georg Jensen. This bracelet is from that time period. Her jewelry is noted for its modernist designs of simple, large, bold geometric shapes. This bracelet is composed of 7 trapezoid shaped hollow links. Measuring 6 3/4" end to end and 1 1/8" wide, it weighs 113 grams and sits 1" high off the wrist. When clasped, the bracelet is seamless and continuous. While weighty, it is remarkably comfortable. Fine original condition and signed as shown. A very sculptural, tactile, simply gorgeous bracelet.
