Very beautiful and early Fred Davis sterling and Rhodonite ring. This same ring, with an amethyst stone, is featured on page 27 of the 4th edition of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date it c. 1930. The face of the ring measures 1" wide and 3/4" long and it is a size 6. Weighing 14 grams, it is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stone. Signed as shown. A great addition to a Mexican Silver collection.

Wonderful, early ( pre- 1940, pre-eagle mark) sterling and amethyst bracelet and matching screw back earrings by Mexican silversmith Horacio de la Parra. The bracelet has six panels of high domed vibrant color amethysts. It measures 7 1/8" end to end, is 1 3/8" wide and weighs a very solid 90 grams. The pin closure is original and secure. The earrings measure 7/8" by 5/8", weigh 10 grams total and the stones are the same cut as the stones in the bracelet...

This is a beautiful vintage Mexican sterling and azurite cuff with hefty weight of 77 grams. It is 6" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening and 1 1/2" wide in the front which is the widest point. The stones are absolutely gorgeous and free of chips or cracks. Of great interest is that the stones are two different shapes. Probably from the 60's or early 70's . Signed with the eagle 3 mark, JAR , Taxco Mexico 925. I am not familiar with this maker but I love the bracelet.

The square bezel set cabochon amethyst links alternate with square silver links and terminate with a secure silver push in clasp. There are 12 carved beads that all move and the velvet cord terminates with two plain silver balls that you can tie and wear the necklace at any length you desire. the necklace measures 27 1/2" end to end, the beads are 1/2" across and the weight is 99 grams. Magnificent long silver and turquoise screwback earrings by Matilde Poulat. These are hallmarked with her very earliest mark, dating them 1934-40. The scrolling silver work is stunning and delicate and the center drop dangles freely. These measure 2 1/8" long and weigh 19 grams total. There is a very slight ding at the bottom of one of the center dangles that is visible in the photos, but it in no way detracts from the beauty of these fine earrings...

It was designed circa 1945-50 by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by master silversmith Manuel Altamirano who worked for Valentin and also for Hector Aguilar.
