An elegant 970 silver and amethyst necklace by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. The square bezel set cabochon amethyst links alternate with square silver links and terminate with a secure silver push in clasp. The necklace measures approximately 17 1/2" end to end ( it is curved so hard to measure exactly), is 3/4" wide and weighs a very sturdy 157 grams. The links are double strung on silver chain and the necklace is in fine condition with no chips or cracks to any of the stones...

Magnificent hand carved 970 silver beads necklace strung on a velvet cord by Antonio Pineda. There are 12 carved beads that all move and the velvet cord terminates with two plain silver balls that you can tie and wear the necklace at any length you desire. the necklace measures 27 1/2" end to end, the beads are 1/2" across and the weight is 99 grams. Magnificent long silver and turquoise screwback earrings by Matilde Poulat. These are hallmarked with her very earliest mark, dating them 1934-40. The scrolling silver work is stunning and delicate and the center drop dangles freely. These measure 2 1/8" long and weigh 19 grams total. There is a very slight ding at the bottom of one of the center dangles that is visible in the photos, but it in no way detracts from the beauty of these fine earrings...

It was designed circa 1945-50 by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by master silversmith Manuel Altamirano who worked for Valentin and also for Hector Aguilar.
