Featured on page 139 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill, this is the Silver Discs Bracelet by Hector Aguilar. It is a remarkable bracelet with graduated, alternating 940 silver and copper discs, each disc linked together by a silver pin that enable the links to move. They end with a secure push in clasp. Because of the curve of the bracelet, it is difficult to get an accurate measurement but I believe this would best fit a 6 1/2- 7"wrist. It is 1 1/4"wide at the widest disc in the middle and narrows to 1/2" at the back discs. Weighing 79 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A very rare and important Hector Aguilar bracelet that should delight any Mexican silver collector. Please see the matching Hector Aguilar silver and copper discs earrings that I am offering separately. What a fabulous set when worn together !!
