Beautiful sterling concha belt by Frank Patania Sr. There are 7 stamped and chiseled oval conchas each measuring 3 1/8" by 2 1/2" and a stunning rectangular repousse buckle with chiseling , matching that on the conchas, measuring 4" by 3 1/8". On the reverse, the loops that hold the conchas and buckle are made of copper. The brown leather belt itself is 39" end to end and 1" wide. Existing belt holes allow for a belt up to 36" but additional holes can be made in the belt to accommodate up to 41". This leather belt may have been replaced. The conchas and buckle are all in fine original condition and the buckle is signed with the Patania Thunderbird Shop hallmark and Sterling as shown. This is a fabulous belt to wear with all of your spectacular Patania jewelry !!!
