Hopi Lewis Lomay (1913-1996)is considered one
of the finest Native American jewelers of the 20th Century. He began his career in the 1930’s as a student of the Navajo silversmith Ambrose Roanhorse at The Santa Fe Indian School and then at The Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild. Later, Lomay worked for Frank Patania in the Thunderbird Shop in Santa Fe. These clip back earrings measure 1 3/4" by 1" and are in fine original condition. Signed as shown.
