A very unusual and striking sterling and saw tooth bezel set turquoise ring by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay. Begay worked at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as privately and won numerous awards for his jewelry which can be found in many private and museum collections. His work was featured in the 2002 exhibit “Jewels of the Southwest” at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is a size 6 1/2 and the face of the ring measures 1 1/4" long and 3/8" wide. It weighs 10 grams, is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Unique and beautiful.
