A lovely sterling cuff with stamping by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay. The brother of Kenneth Begay, he worked alongside him at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as privately and won numerous awards for his jewelry which can be found in many private and museum collections. His work was featured in the 2002 exhibit “Jewels of the Southwest” at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, NM. This bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening. Weighing 28 grams, it is 1/2" wide and in fine original condition. Signed as shown. A charming piece.
