A vintage heavy gauge sterling silver handmade bracelet with stamping and filing by Navajo master silversmith Thomas Curtis. He was considered among the top Navajo silversmiths, a master jeweler who pursued his art for over 50 years. He received many awards, among them Best in Class at the 1987 Santa Fe Indian Market and he was featured in the May 2003 issue of Arizona Highways. He made everything by hand including his die sets to stamp the silver. This incredible bracelet measures 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1 3/4" wide, weighs 136 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. His pieces are highly collected and increasingly rare to find.
