This set is the Hector Aguilar V-chain necklace with detachable azurite pin/pendant, matching azurite earrings, and matching V-chain bracelet. The necklace is featured on page 39 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. It is shown with an amethyst pendant in the book. The azurite pendant on this necklace I am offering is shown on page 217 of this same book and the V-chain bracelet on page 63. These pieces are dated c.1945 and are in 940 silver. Ir is extremely rare to find a matching necklace, bracelet and earrings set and I am most pleased to be able to offer this exquisite ensemble which is from the same estate as the HA Tubular Drops necklace that I have already offered. The necklace measures 16" end to end and is 3/4" wide. It weighs 108 grams without the pin/pendant. The pin/pendant measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide at the widest part of the silver top. It weighs 43 grams. The bracelet measures 8 1/2" end to end and is 3/4" wide. It weighs 61 grams. The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1" long and 3/4" wide. All of the pieces are in pristine original condition. The stones are a cobalt blue color with lots of gold running through and shades of turquoise too. There are no chips or cracks to the stones and no damage, changes or repairs of any kind to any of the pieces.The push in clasps on the necklace and bracelet are secure. The earring screwbacks hold securely on the ears. The pin back and bail on the pin/pendant are original and secure. Each earring, the pin/pendant, the necklace and the bracelet are all individually signed 940 HA Taxco and the eagle mark. A photo of the pin/pendant hallmark is shown in the last photo, but again, all of the pieces have these marks. This is a glorious, magnificent set that certainly speaks for itself. A fabulous find for the collector and a wonderful investment. Wearing it is heavenly!
