Interesting piece of miscellaneous electronic equipment. I believe this basically equates to a voltmeter. The actual instrument looks fine but the insulation on the wire has not stood the test of time. Might still work but probably not very safely. Nice looking army eagle and abbreviation on front. The case is really nice. Very slightly out of shape but no real damage. All stitching is intact and strap and buckle are fine. Leather is still soft and supple. Metal reinforced lid has directions on the inside. Top is nicely marked with Waffenamt, dated 1940 and maker marked G.J. Ensink & Co. OHRDRUF. A little bit of white mildew on one corner would clean up easily. Some green residue spots on inside and bottom of device would also easily clean up. I don't clean or "fix" anything but a tiny bit TLC on this item would really yield some solid results. This is really an interesting item.
