Extremely interesting tinnie from the 1933 Volksdeutsche Opferwoche (Or Ethnic German Victims Week). The Volksdeiutsche were ethnic Germans who found themselves living in areas that were part of the German Reich mostly before WWI. While many may have been discriminated against in their new countries pre-WWII Germany used them and a greatly inflated image of their suffering to help point out the wrongs of the Versailles Treaty. This strategy was the driving force behind Chamberlain giving the Sudetenland to Germany in an effort to retain peace. This very hard to find tinnie represents a long term and effective propaganda strategy.
