A fine tripod bowl from the Pre-Columbian stretch between Nicaragua and Columbia. A small piece of the bowl has broken off and that painted pattern has been worn. However it is still possible to see the pattern somewhat clearly.
Provenance: Ole Hammer Collection. Zoologist who collected all of his pieces in the 1950’s on his travels to South-America. Now most of his collection is in the danish museum ‘Holstebro Art Museum’.

Condition: Very good.
