Offered is this beautiful, 'Osiris'-type art glass vase with applied handles, made most likely, by Stevens & Williams in England, around 1890. Probably the 'Pull-up' machine, invented by John Northwood (when he was Artistic Director at Stevens & Williams), was used for the zippered pattern on the vase. The vase is 9 inches (23 cm) tall and 5 inches wide. It is in good condition. The handles on the vase fluoresce in a gentle-green coloration, typical of 19th century soda-lime glass. Unsigned, as expected.
