A scary antique composition Devil head from a hand puppet or marionette. His features are dramatically highlighted with colorful paint (all original) to be seen from a distance.

• Origin: probably Germany, ca 1910
• Condition: excellent, all original paint, very small area of flaking at the tip of one horn at the back of one ear
• Dimensions: 3-1/4" tall.

A very pleasing set of 7 linen cocktail napkins with appliqués of rooster heads. The napkins are beautifully finished along the edges with red buttonhole stitching. Completely hand sewn. Circa 1940. Excellent condition, no staining or other wear. Size: 5” x 8”.

A vintage sterling silver figural jigger in the shape of a thimble. The rim is ornately engraved "Only A Thimble Full". The interior is gilt. The bottom is hallmarked by the Webster Silver Co.

Origin: America, ca. 1935. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, gilding intact, no dings. Size: 1-5/8" tall. Weight: 18.1 grams.

Antique German Halloween composition Veggie Man head from a candy container. He has a lot of personality with big teeth, spectacles, and a jaunty hat.

A very nice pulp "choirboy" Halloween jack o'lantern. The paper insert is original. The pulp has very good color and a nice shiny glaze.

• Dimensions: 7" x 5-1/2" (excluding wire bail)

A very nice vintage pulp Halloween lantern in the shape of a black cat at an orange picket fence. The paper insert is original. The lantern has strong color and a nice shiny glaze on the pulp.

• Origin: America, ca. 1940
• Condition: original paint, a few small touch-ups, a couple of small tears on the back side, the bottom has a hole cut to insert a candle and the top of the head has a small section cut away to keep from burning.
• Dimension: 7-3/4" tall

A rare bisque Halloween candy container in the form of a Pumpkin Man holding a large pumpkin as a black cat walks by. This would have been filled with small candies and used as a table decoration or party treat.

• Origin: Japan, ca 1930
• Condition: no chips or cracks, about 10-15% paint loss
• Dimensions: 3" tall

Vintage Halloween papier-mache Veggie Person or Jack o'Lantern, one side painted with a male face and the other side with a female face. Both sides have protruding red nose. The bottom is stamped "Germany."

• Origin: Germany, ca 1920
• Condition: excellent, all original, bright color
• Dimensions: 3" diameter

A vintage composition candy container in the rare form of a pink pig. The head is delicately painted to highlight a devilish face with red lips and a broad grin in which he bares his teeth. The painted eyes give him an overall scarey look. The tail is rawhide or leather while the head detaches from the body to reveal the storage compartment -- what an odd place to hide that holiday Christmas candy ! German vintage figural candy containers in the form of uncommon animals are rare.

Dimensions: 6 inches long and 3 1/4 inches tall from the foot to the tip of his ear.

Origin: Faintly marked Germany on the underside of the pig.

Circa 1920.

Condition: Very nice, with a bit of flaking around the neck. No visible repairs or breaks.

Terrific ruby red glass dumbbell cocktail shaker by West Virginia Specialty Glass Co. The shaker was made in several different colors, with the ruby red being one of the most desirable. The shaker is pictured in Visakay's book.

Origin: America, circa 1937. Condition: no chips or cracks; the glass has a couple of small scratches; there is a bit of wear to the plating on the collar; and the pour cap has a small ding and a small split. Size: 13" long.
